Point Diner EST. 1950 service was good and food was good. I enjoyed the Fried Oysters platter with chicken salad and ordered it with a soup du jour that was a creamy chicken soup. Delicious! Crab cake that was panko fried was good. The Stuffed jumbo shrimp with linguine pasta was good too.

Gone down the tubes. Was 5 star 2 years ago. Drinks were watered down. Food not even close to what it used to be. They are definitely cutting costs and relying on the reputation of what it was. Don't know if they had new ownership or management, but this was the last time eating here.

Okay, diner food but everything was extra if you order hot open face sandwich. Only couple choices of vegetables. The food was good, but they were short on help, si a couple of the employee's had an attitude. I was there for dinner. Not sure if I want to give it another try. Sorry! I will say the food was very good! What you got of it!

Loved my Tuesday special, chicken pot pie. Very flavorful with tender chicken and a flaky crust. Rice pudding for dessert could have been creamier, the rice tasted undercooked. I hope to eat here again before returning home to Florida. Thanks Emily for your terrific service.

Typical Greek diner. Mid priced. Had one good meal thete and one meh. Parking is good. Restrooms clean.

since forever, it's a very good basic dinner with great views of the Bay. good food and prices and great service. clean and nice... just avoid the TV at the counter.

Nice friendly staff. Prices good. Ac and music. Very nice fwaitress and staff. Great people who have been there forever. Knowledgeable about area and knows about area. So feel free to ask. They treat everyone feel at easy. Cant say enough. Always leave there. Feeling full.

The food was really good. The service was really good and quick. There is a nice view of the water if you sit in the right spot. We ate there for breakfast.

Great food at reasonable prices, great people, very down-to-Earth management, always clean. Lovely spot for classic American food right by the bridge to Ocean City. My best friends and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years. Lots of wonderful memories here. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Waitress was unpleasant and unhygienic. Spilled sauce all over another plate and didnt help at all. The food took FOREVER!!! After salads she Came bsck to table to get the remaining 3 packaged butters for another table which was odd at first but after they gave us vegetable oil as melted butter and we doused 2 crab cake entrees in it we realized they must have ran out of butter so substituted oil and sAnd when brought up, the waitress and manager made no attempt to apologize or rectify the issue in any way! Who deliberately serves food under false premise? Its dangerous! What if we had an allergy??

Great service very friendly staff, breakfast home fries could use more flavor. I know it is a diner but they could improve on some of their dishes.

We went to the Point Diner because it was the best looking of the 2 options. Very clean. Ample parking. Waitress and hostess were very friendly. I drink decaf, and it was very good. Now.....the food.....wow. My wife's Spanish Omelet was stuffed. Beautiful, tasted great. I got the Texas toast French toast. Perfectly cooked, again enough food for 2 people. I can imagine this place being packed during the prime season. It was quite busy during the off season. A gem among Diners, in the diner capital of the world.

$6 breakfast special. Beth was wonderful

I was very pleased with the service, and the food was pretty good also. I had the black bean burger, and the fruit salad. I don't believe the fruit salad was really worth the price however based on its relatively small size and the amount and type of fruit.

As always breakfast at The Point Diner was fabulous. Service was awesome.

Average NJ diner fare. The place is a little dated and worn but our server was pleasant and mostly attentive. The location is nice because you can eat breakfast before going over the bridge to Ocean City.

This was an interesting restaurant right out on the main road coming into Ocean City New Jersey. It offers great Nostalgia for dining experience, the food was moderately tasteful and the atmosphere comfortable. The service acceptable and the price is Affordable. Worth the stop along the way from anywhere. ~V.

I used to come here a lot with my dad when he lived in ocean city. It was a great place, even during "the season", when it gets crazy here. The food was always top notch. Haven't been there in a few years as my dad has moved from there. Took my mom there the other day and what a change !! It was not busy at all. It took a while for my food, but no biggie. Well, my potatoes were cold, half my omlet was runny and uncooked. And my toast was as hard as a brick and cold like it was hours old. Once I say the runny eggs I felt like I was going to puck. If I could give them no stars I would.

Other than waiting 5 to 10 minutes for any kind of service it was decent. The food was good but all the meat was in the center of the sandwich not on either end fries were a bit skimpy but really good.

Nice diner! Standard diner fare menu but with a few extras and surprises thrown in. Nice variety of specials. Service is friendly and prompt. I had a tuna melt, because I was in a bit of a hurry. Had a nice tang to it, served hot, not soggy, nice crisp fries. It's a huge place, and since it's off season for the shore it looked like some of it was closed off. But still plenty of room and nicely appointed. If you want a good default kind of place before wandering into the crush of Ocean City, this is ideal!

Easily my wife's and my favorite place. THE go to diner. I'll happily drive passed multiple dinners to go here. Food tastes amazing, good deals, prices are cheap. Could go there every day, eat something different, and not get bored.

Always loved this place! Have to say, our dinner was excellent. Navy bean soup was delicious. Loved the crabcakes and veggies! Dessert was really tasty bread pudding and coffee. Our server was very attentive. Definitely will be back!

Wish I went to McDonald's. Place was empty. Sat in beat up old booth. Place order of daily special paper. It was $13 including drink and desert. After trying to get down bland meatloaf, potatoes, I was ready to go. Asked to take my deser home. Was told I couldn't, desert was a courtesy only to be eaten in restaurant. Manager apologize said it was owners rule. She could not give a rational reason . I never experienced anything like that. I said I would oils take it, then asked for it to go. Told me they weren't allow to stay it to go.
